Joseph McDermott and Amani Zein are a dynamic young couple leading a global network marketing organization from their home in Canada. They met on Facebook in 2011 and became the fastest team in their company to reach Diamond.

Growing up in Nigeria, Amani moved to Canada at age 22. Originally from Arizona, Joey was introduced to network marketing by a stranger and built a significant income by age 21. The couple shares a strong commitment to self-development and empowering people, which also paved their way to success.

Featured Rising Stars in the Sep/Oct 2015 issue of Networking Times, Amani and Joseph have their hearts set on offering entrepreneurs around the world a proven vehicle for creating their best life. Here are some highlights from the article:

 Amani Zein’s Top 6 Tips

  1. You are unique, stop trying to be like anyone else.
  2. Everything you want in life wants you too.
  3. Surround yourself with people you want to be like.
  4. Make time for fun and living. It’s not just about the end result, it’s also about the journey.
  5. If you knew you were going to die in a month, what would you do? Do it now! Don’t wait.
  6. One day my 8-year-old son and I were playing chess. He kept winning and gave me advice: “Mom, you have to practice a lot. This is how you win the game of chess. Play a lot of games. It’s hard. They will beat you and you will lose… a lot. But if you play every day, you’ll get better and you’ll win.” The same goes for anything we do in life. Isn’t he such a wise little one?

Joey’s Success Principles

  1. This business is about continuously building relationships. Connect with people who are better than you are and build that friendship. Your network is your biggest asset.
  2. Stay focused. If you understand that everything worth having takes time, you won’t be swayed by fast money opportunities.
  3. Don’t have an expiration date on your success. Have a long-term vision.
  4. Don’t quit your job until your part-time network marketing income surpasses your full-time job income, on a steady basis.
  5. Couples do well in this business and tend to be more powerful than people who build solo. Make sure your spouse/partner has your back and you also have theirs. Work on your relationship like you do on your business, which is daily. If you’re single, recruit up just like I did.
