Research shows that people perform better – in business and every other area of life – when they’re happy. When you feel happy, it’s easier for you to be effective. You feel a generative energy. Your creativity is high. You can work stronger for longer hours more consistently. You invest the time to learn new things that will unlock doors and take you to the next level. You attract happy people and rewarding projects into your life. Over time this creates the success you desire. Happiness breeds greater and greater successes. The same is true of teams. Happy teams work better and achieve more.
Happiness is especially important in network marketing. Why? Happy people have an easier time building a business: people are attracted to their energy, want to be around them and do what they are doing. Happy people sustain better relationships with their team members, and therefore can build stronger, larger organizations long-term. Happy teams and organizations do more; they do it more consistently and with a better attitude, again increasing effectiveness. With happiness as the desired goal for so many reasons, the question is how to achieve it – predictably, sustainably, authentically. As a leader, you want to learn how to cultivate genuine, lasting happiness within yourself – at will – and then go on to teach others how they can do the same.
Happiness that transforms lives and businesses is not just a fleeting feeling, temporary good mood, or based on external things or outcomes: being happy is choosing a state of mind.

You could be teaching the best training in the world, have all the answers that would help a team member unlock their potential and take their business to a whole new level, but they will never receive it if they don’t want to be around you. We have found that when there’s hope, there’s a potential for happiness. When there’s a lack of hope, there’s little or no happiness. As leaders, let’s go out and inspire hope in others, then link arms and link aims, working together to make hope a reality. We all have the power to achieve what we envision when we choose to never give up! Let’s lead by example. Inspire. Show gratitude. Be happy. You are far more powerful than you believe.
