We LOVE Dr. Bruce Lipton! John David Mann interviewed Bruce for Networking Times all the way back in 2006 when not too many people had heard of him. The story was titled In Pursuit of the “Honeymoon” State of Being.
Dr. Bruce always has good news! In this 9-minute video he dispels the urban myth and common misconception that we use only 10% of our brain.
“It’s true that only 10% of the brain consists of neurons,” he says. “The other 90% is made up of Glial Cells or connective tissue–but these cells have a definite function we can apply and put to good use.”
He then gives a few easy tips for using your entire brain–and for relaxing and restoring your thinking organ in the most effective way. Get ready for making some funny moves.
Also, remember that teacher who told you to uncross your arms and legs? “Not so fast,” says Dr. Bruce. “Crossing the mid-line of the body helps us relax and balance both hemispheres of the brain.”
Now sit back and enjoy the video!
